Acilia Town's Liang Cai got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Acilia Town's Liang Cai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Marchegiani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Acilia Town from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liang Cai in the 38th minute of play forced Casette's goalkeeper Alberto Marchegiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Casette defense, Liang Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Marchegiani. In the 57thth minute of the game Alessandro Coscia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Casette's Alessandro Coscia in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Acilia Town's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Recoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Casette's goal looked a bit too open when Liang Cai came free, but Alberto Marchegiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Garofalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alberto Marchegiani made a huge save. In the 78th minute of the match Acilia Town got a corner. Casette's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ovidiu Ciulei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alberto Marchegiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Tande in the 82nd minute of the match. Dieguinho Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 minutes of play, Acilia Town's Dieguinho Tande made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Marchegiani was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Casette had won after a very even match.
