Emiliano Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liang Cai in the 27th minute of play. Corrado Contestabile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ciro Moscatelli made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Liang Cai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Polito. Duri come il marmo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liang Cai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberigo Addari in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Moscatelli saved Acilia Town from getting behind. Emilio Rizzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Moscatelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acilia Town's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mary Cau was slow to take the kick. During this time Duri come il marmo's players had a chance to rest. Duri come il marmo's Corrado Contestabile was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciro Moscatelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 47 minutes into the match, Liang Cai notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Duri come il marmo's Emiliano Polito. Emiliano Polito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liang Cai to strike the kick off in the second half. Liang Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Polito having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goalkeeper Emiliano Polito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liang Cai. After 55 played minutes Duri come il marmo got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Presutti. Duri come il marmo's Emiliano Polito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Duri come il marmo from getting a goal against them. Fidel Illan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lattanzio in the 61st minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Alberigo Addari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Rizzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acilia Town's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludvig Rudkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Duri come il marmo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Duri come il marmo's Ludvig Rudkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciro Moscatelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ciro Moscatelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberigo Addari's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Liang Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Polito having to make a save. After 95 minutes of play, Acilia Town's Dieguinho Tande made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Polito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
