Herta Budino's Liu Ying Qing quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 16 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Jazz came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Bolognesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Jazz's protests and gave Vittorio Mazzoni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Vittorio Mazzoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Rinaldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Bolognesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Rinaldi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 55th minute of play forced Jazz's goalkeeper Andrea Bolognesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Rinaldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Andrea Bolognesi made a huge save. If Davide Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrea Bolognesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kleanthis Zoumakis could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Andrea Bolognesi however easily saved by the left post. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Jazz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jazz booed when Herta Budino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Tăgorean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herta Budino made a substitution. Corrado Loiacono replaced Adam Baldy. Pitin Gonca didn't quite understand what happened when in the 74 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Joshua Hart kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Herta Budino's Virgílio Furtado was substituted for Achille Di Crescenzo. The supporters of Herta Budino booed when Jazz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Hart didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Jazz's goalkeeper Andrea Bolognesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Rinaldi. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Jazz in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jazz's zone, Virgílio Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Bolognesi came out of the goal and Virgílio Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jazz were furious when Camillo Salerno was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fábio Grosso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Corrado Loiacono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Loiacono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Bolognesi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
