Pastor Ihazintu started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Bruno Di Iulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesare Punta in the 7th minute. Arthur Damm kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Cezary Tusk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin didn't even have to move. Eugenio Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Asklöv in the 24th minute of play. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Di Marzio in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Jian Bing in the 28th minute of play forced Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ihazintu in the 30th minute of play. Cezary Tusk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Urbano Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Lusi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Deng Jian Bing sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Santoro skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Orhan Bozdoğan got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ennio Di Marzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Urbano Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sao Brasola made a substitution. Caetano Velasques replaced Joseph Asklöv. In the 52nd minute Elia Di Vincenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Punta in the 58th minute of play forced Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Alf Runeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Punta struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Eugenio Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sao Brasola. Urbs LC made a substitution. Edoardo Zuccarini replaced Jimmy Wiklund. Boško Balaban's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Urbano Saturnin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Velasques in the 80th minute of play. Edoardo Zuccarini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Saturnin having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Elia Di Vincenzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Urbs LC's Anselmo Papetti got a free kick in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
