Eugenio Colecchia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessio Zoccali showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Alessio Zoccali took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Colecchia. Eugenio Colecchia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alessio Zoccali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Colecchia having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 24th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Alessio Nola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Zoccali came free, but Eugenio Colecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Zoccali scored 3-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Colecchia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Leoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seggiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Udinese the free kick. Cristoforo Leoni hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristiano Paolucci in the 40th minute.

In the 52nd match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Leoni to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes of play, A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Colecchia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alberigo Di Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Colecchia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Ercole Fiorentino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Rotili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmine Righi in the 67th minute. Eugenio Colecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Fiorentino, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eugenio Colecchia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Giorda in the 85th minute of the match. Ercole Fiorentino scored 6-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Colecchia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Carmine Righi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Rotili, 6-2. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Giovanni Falcone took a quick shot and it went in 6-3 without a chance for Alvaro Rotili to make any attempt to save it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.S. Udinese fully deserved thier win.
