When A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone, in the 3rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. In the 6th minute, Cezary Tusk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alvaro Rotili, passed just outside the right post. Eugenio Santoro came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone. But to his dismay, Alexander Bottone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Di Franco in the 10th minute of play. Alvaro Rotili made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Pastor Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ihazintu came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Ennio Di Marzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgardo Lucado hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Pastor Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cezary Tusk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urbs LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Tusk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Rotili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bottone in the 36th minute of play forced Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardo Testa in the 37 minute of the game. Eugenio Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Di Franco in the 38th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alexander Bottone made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Di Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Pastor Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Rotili having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Di Marzio came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Bottone. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bottone in the 62nd minute of play. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Augusto Clemente replaced Alberigo Di Franco. In the 85th minute, Pastor Ihazintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Rotili was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ihazintu came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Papetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alvaro Rotili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The A.S. Udinese players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
