The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Schuster booed when Squadra de Pippe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Gongolewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Squadra de Pippe got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Andreoli. Anfilogino Pittelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fan Xi Hong made a huge save. Fan Xi Hong was a little too slow when Anfilogino Pittelli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Schuster were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Squadra de Pippe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anfilogino Pittelli took the corner. The corner ended in Mauro Bezerra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong did a great save. Fan Xi Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musko Cuevas in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schuster's goalkeeper Donato Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 minutes of play, Squadra de Pippe's Stanislovas Skripkauskas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fan Xi Hong came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Schuster's Mauro Bezerra. But to his dismay, Mauro Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 25 played minutes Schuster got a freekick which was hit by 沈真威. Musko Cuevas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fan Xi Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fan Xi Hong made a huge save. Mauro Bezerra in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fan Xi Hong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute, Stanislovas Skripkauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Musko Cuevas in the 40th minute of play. Stanislovas Skripkauskas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Donato Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Rukszcz in the 47th minute of play.

Donato Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislovas Skripkauskas in the 56th minute. Squadra de Pippe's Cristoforo Volpe was substituted for Lukasz Rukszcz. The corner led Squadra de Pippe's Boruc Gongolewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Donato Ali despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Bezerra came free, but Fan Xi Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Stanislovas Skripkauskas could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Donato Ali however easily saved by the left post. Donato Ali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislovas Skripkauskas's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Schuster's Enrico Pagliarini was substituted for Achille Passerini. After 77 minutes Schuster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boruc Gongolewicz who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Antonio Cabrini heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Stanislovas Skripkauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morientes came free, but Fan Xi Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fan Xi Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richy Hensmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With an all-out effort, Squadra de Pippe's Donato Ali threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristoforo Volpe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
