Vilmos Pusztai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertalan Saághy's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Pál Vörös fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Pusztai having to interfere. Stopli's Bertalan Saághy got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tibor Murai fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gyulakeszi's protests and gave Tibor Murai a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gyulakeszi's Tibor Murai got a free kick in the 12th minute. Olivér Bács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfréd Sáfár having to interfere. Bertalan Saághy might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilmos Pusztai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertalan Saághy ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bertalan Saághy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertalan Saághy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Pusztai having to interfere. When Patrik Novák fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gyulakeszi's protests and gave Patrik Novák a yellow card for diving instead. Patrik Novák kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Stopli's Alfréd Sáfár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Pintér in the 30th minute of play. If Bertalan Saághy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bertalan Saághy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stopli's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertalan Saághy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmos Pusztai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gyulakeszi's goalkeeper Vilmos Pusztai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Domonkos in the 39th minute of play forced Stopli's goalkeeper Alfréd Sáfár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivér Bács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfréd Sáfár having to interfere. Stopli's Bertalan Saághy got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilmos Pusztai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertalan Saághy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 minutes of play, Gyulakeszi's László Domonkos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfréd Sáfár was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bertalan Saághy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertalan Saághy in the 57th minute of play forced Gyulakeszi's goalkeeper Vilmos Pusztai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Olivér Bács managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyulakeszi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivér Bács was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Bertalan Saághy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stopli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Stopli's Lajos Vígh got a free kick in the 65th minute. Bertalan Saághy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Pusztai having to interfere. Bertalan Saághy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gyulakeszi's Vilmos Pusztai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertalan Saághy in the 75th minute of play. Bertalan Saághy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Pusztai having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Stopli got a freekick which was hit by Kálmán Vándor. Alfréd Sáfár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivér Bács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Gyulakeszi got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Murai. The supporters of Gyulakeszi booed when Stopli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Vándor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Kutas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Béla Károlyi fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gyulakeszi's protests and gave Béla Károlyi a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gyulakeszi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Stopli a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by István Szepesi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gyulakeszi's Vilmos Pusztai. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Stopli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
