Lajos Gelencsér was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Györgytarló's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lajos Gelencsér struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mihály Udvari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Györgytarló. When Csány LC's Béla Matolcsy in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Györgytarló's goalie prevented a goal. László Dömötör made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Matolcsy in the 15th minute of play. Károly Jászberényi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Györgytarló:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Csány LC:s goal. In the 26th minute, Sándor Segesváry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Béla Matolcsy in the 30th minute of play forced Györgytarló's goalkeeper László Dömötör to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sándor Segesváry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihály Udvari having to interfere. Károly Soós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Károly Soós in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck László Dömötör prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sándor Segesváry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mihály Udvari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Csány LC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sándor Segesváry made a kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lajos Gelencsér sped through Csány LC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihály Udvari. Béla Szalay's late challenge caught a Györgytarló's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Béla Szalay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Györgytarló booed when Csány LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Szalay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Károly Soós struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. László Dömötör didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Csány LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Györgytarló the free kick. Mihály Udvari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sándor Segesváry in the 77th minute of the match. Györgytarló's László Dömötör proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Györgytarló from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Miklós Kulcsár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Udvari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sándor Segesváry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mihály Udvari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Miklós Kulcsár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Györgytarló fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Csány LC's Károly Soós got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
