An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Ede Szalai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, György Csernyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tompa's supporters rose to their feet, but György Csernyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vencel Rácz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tompa's Ádám Herceg got a free kick in the 16th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nekézseny ETO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! After having played for 27 minutes, Ede Szalai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes Tompa got a freekick which was hit by György Csernyi. Dénes Vadász sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
