No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ákos Tököli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tamás Tulipán who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Cristobal Shepherd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Octavio Fidensio came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tolna VFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Fidensio couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Gusztáv Menyhért managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hottó VTK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richárd Kiprich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tolna VFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
