Szilárd Ballai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, SAGRES LUSITANIA CF's goal looked a bit too open when József Erdei came free, but Xzaiver Liquiñano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vízvár Spartacus defense, Balázs Tímár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szilárd Ballai. The Vízvár Spartacus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szilárd Ballai should have stopped the shot. Staneslav Trybovich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sinan Batıkan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szilárd Ballai saved Vízvár Spartacus from getting behind. Szilárd Ballai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Batıkan in the 28th minute of play. If Péter Kárpáti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Péter Kárpáti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szilárd Ballai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vízvár Spartacus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balázs Tímár was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Péter Kárpáti made a kick off. Olivér Kolompár was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SAGRES LUSITANIA CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! SAGRES LUSITANIA CF:s Xzaiver Liquiñano showed great skill when he stopped Csanád Hajnal:s penalty. 54 minutes into the match, Csanád Hajnal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xzaiver Liquiñano. SAGRES LUSITANIA CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Csanád Hajnal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Balázs Tímár came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SAGRES LUSITANIA CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Tímár couldn't finish the play. In the 59thth minute of the game Balázs Tímár who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vízvár Spartacus's Szilárd Ballai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SAGRES LUSITANIA CF's Balázs Tímár got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egon Szőnyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szilárd Ballai having to interfere. When Balázs Tímár came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SAGRES LUSITANIA CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Tímár couldn't finish the play. SAGRES LUSITANIA CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Tímár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Tímár couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Endre Marton during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vízvár Spartacus!
