Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bálint Bolla started the match with the kick off. Kálmán Mihály recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kálmán Mihály came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Máriakéménd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kálmán Mihály couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Kisvarsány got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Pucheli. Gergely Bódi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csaba Saághy in the 13th minute of the match. Kálmán Mihály received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Henry Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Máriakéménd booed when Kisvarsány was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Di Filippo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kálmán Mihály fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Holm having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Kálmán Mihály got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dániel Pethő hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kálmán Mihály fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Holm having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Kisvarsány's Csaba Saághy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gergely Bódi. Gergely Bódi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Máriakéménd getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alex Kolompár hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Máriakéménd's goalkeeper Gergely Bódi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Tímár in the 51st minute of play forced Máriakéménd's goalkeeper Gergely Bódi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kisvarsány's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilbert Huk in the 53rd minute. Gilbert Huk made a great header on Kisvarsány's corner, it was just that Máriakéménd's Gergely Bódi managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Kisvarsány booed when Máriakéménd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Mihály didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Máriakéménd's Kálmán Mihály got a free kick in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bálint Bolla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henry Holm. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Gergely Bódi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Saághy in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Máriakéménd's Szilárd Sárközi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Holm. That made the score 1-2 after 67 minutes of play. After 70 minutes, Lóránt Soltész mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Máriakéménd and the Kisvarsány players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Máriakéménd's Lóránt Soltész got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Saághy in the 72nd minute of play forced Máriakéménd's goalkeeper Gergely Bódi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Csaba Saághy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Bódi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gergely Bódi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Tímár in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Máriakéménd defense, Balázs Tímár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gergely Bódi. The Máriakéménd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gergely Bódi should have stopped the shot. Balázs Tímár might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gergely Bódi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Tímár ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 90 minutes, Balázs Tímár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kisvarsány's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Tímár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Saághy in the 92nd minute of play forced Máriakéménd's goalkeeper Gergely Bódi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
