Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tamás Sarkady took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dániel Almási fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Sólyom having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VASAS FC's Kornél Kocsis got a free kick in the 6th minute. János Sólyom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Sarkady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Péter Cselényi made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by VASAS FC's Sándor Baróti. Konstantin Molnár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, János Sólyom, was totally fooled by Mihályi's Lénárd Havass, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. János Sólyom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamás Sarkady in the 29th minute of play. Endre Bodnár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Endre Bodnár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tibor Szigligeti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Péter Cselényi during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mihályi getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Péter Cselényi hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Endre Bodnár made a kick off. Tamás Sarkady kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. János Sólyom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tamás Sarkady went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Endre Bodnár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tibor Szigligeti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Péter Cselényi in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by VASAS FC's Gábor Kovács. 67 minutes into the game, Mihályi's Tamás Sarkady nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. János Sólyom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Endre Bodnár might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tibor Szigligeti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Endre Bodnár ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd match minute, VASAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Kovács to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Szigligeti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endre Bodnár, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dániel Almási received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. János Sólyom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dániel Almási had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Tamás Sarkady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Sólyom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mihályi fans cheered their team off the field, for while VASAS FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
