Ádám Szigethy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lajos Gergely's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Mosonszolnok FC's Ádám Szigethy got control of the ball when Bence Honti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Lokomotiv Debrecen's Bence Honti got a free kick in the 47th minute.

If Lajos Gergely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Marton during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferenc Mester's late challenge caught a FC Lokomotiv Debrecen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
