In the 10th minute Béla Csákvári shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Virág saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferenc Boros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristóf Béres having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rafael Jósa might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krisztián Virág. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Jósa ran back to his position shaking his head. Béla Csákvári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Krisztián Virág tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Árpád Pál-Szabó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Dennis Bergkamp School's Krisztián Virág played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Sallay in the 90th minute of play.
