The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mátyás Baróti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tibor Miklós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mátyás Baróti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Imre Zarka made a kick off. Norbert Vörös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vaspör SE's zone, Tibor Miklós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mátyás Baróti came out of the goal and Tibor Miklós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egri bikák's Tibor Miklós came free and shot a quick shot against goal 56 minutes in the game, fortunately Mátyás Baróti had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Tibor Miklós might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mátyás Baróti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tibor Miklós ran back to his position shaking his head. Norbert Vörös did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Mátyás Baróti 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibor Miklós got free with Mátyás Baróti in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norbert Vörös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibor Miklós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Baróti having to interfere. Vendel Vadász sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egri bikák's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
