Szabolcs Gere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hunyadi JFC's Ákos Tóth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gergely Dénes in the 27th minute of play. Géza Bodor took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ákos Tóth. Ákos Tóth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Csaba Madaras's late challenge caught a Acsalag LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Csaba Madaras helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Hunyadi JFC got a freekick which was hit by Csaba Madaras. 37 minutes into the match, Hunyadi JFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Dénes came free, but Ákos Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ákos Tóth had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gergely Dénes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Bertold Bányay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szabolcs Gere, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gergely Dénes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Acsalag LC booed when Hunyadi JFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csaba Madaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ákos Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Géza Bodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Attila Szepesi made a precise shot to the right of Ákos Tóth. Hunyadi JFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
