After 2 played minutes Békásmegyer FC got a freekick which was hit by Márk Sándor. Ferenc Sipos struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Zsolt Karsai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Békásmegyer FC. When Békásmegyer FC's Szabolcs Bánhegyi in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Novaj's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Gergely Bányay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novaj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gergely Bányay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Sándor got free with Zsolt Karsai in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Dániel Erőss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Pusztai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If József Sándor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Zsolt Karsai managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Békásmegyer FC's Szabolcs Bánhegyi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Novaj defense, József Sándor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zsolt Karsai. The Novaj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zsolt Karsai should have stopped the shot. Emil Madaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Zsolt Karsai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gergely Bányay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Békásmegyer FC's zone, Elemér Rákosi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Pusztai came out of the goal and Elemér Rákosi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Ferenc Sipos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. József Sándor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zsolt Karsai having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Novaj's Gergely Bányay got a free kick in the 37th minute. Novaj's Zsolt Karsai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Sipos in the 39th minute of play. If Gergely Bányay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márk Sándor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gergely Bányay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Pusztai having to interfere. Elemér Rákosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Szabolcs Bánhegyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zsolt Karsai was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th match minute, Novaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zakariás Balogh to maneuver through the defense. Békásmegyer FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
