The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rúgd előre FC's Tibor Balogh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Szőcs in the 4th minute of play. György Szőcs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tibor Balogh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rúgd előre FC's zone, György Szőcs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Balogh came out of the goal and György Szőcs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. György Szőcs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibor Balogh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Antal Keserű had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. György Szőcs got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 26th match minute before Tibor Balogh had time to react. In the 29th minute, Simon Szarka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibor Balogh was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Rúgd előre FC's Tibor Balogh got control of the ball when György Szőcs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Hambi Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjámin Ábrahám to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. György Szőcs was the one to do the kick off. Szabolcs Fábián could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but József Dósa made a huge save. Hambi Fc's György Szőcs got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibor Balogh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of György Szőcs's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game György Szőcs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rúgd előre FC's Tibor Balogh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antal Keserű sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. György Szőcs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Balogh having to interfere. József Dósa made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Szabolcs Fábián sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, György Szőcs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hambi Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but György Szőcs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibor Balogh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the game, Mátyás Zádori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rúgd előre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hambi Fc the free kick. Mátyás Zádori kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Antal Keserű took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tibor Balogh. Rúgd előre FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st minute of the game, Antal Keserű landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 71 minutes of play Rúgd előre FC's Mátyás Zádori was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Hambi Fc's Tamás Faragó was substituted for Antal Keserű. In the 73rd match minute, Rúgd előre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Zádori to maneuver through the defense. György Szőcs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Szabolcs Fábián had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hambi Fc's Csanád Szegedi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Szabolcs Fábián could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but József Dósa made a huge save. György Szőcs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Balogh having to interfere.
