Spectators: 6897 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kázmér Simicska started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Diósgyri VTK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lajos Sebes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kázmér Simicska in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andor Sámuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diósgyri VTK's goalkeeper Andor Sámuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Diósgyri VTK's goalkeeper Andor Sámuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Keserű. 12 minutes into the game, Gergely Czene cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Norbert Zádor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 19 minutes of play, Diósgyri VTK's Gergely Czene made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norbert Zádor was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Simon Keserű had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gergely Czene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Balázs Héj came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Diósgyri VTK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Héj couldn't finish the play. Balázs Héj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Norbert Zádor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Zádor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Czene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Zádor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Héj, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Márió Bögi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Diósgyri VTK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zsolt Tököli in the 44th minute. Diósgyri VTK's Zsolt Tököli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Norbert Zádor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 46 minutes, Gergely Czene made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Levél's Norbert Zádor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Balázs Héj to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bulcsú Szegh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Gergely Czene could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Norbert Zádor however easily saved by the left post. After 56 played minutes Levél got a freekick which was hit by Szabolcs Dömötör. 59 minutes into the match, Diósgyri VTK's Gergely Czene sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Zádor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Simon Keserű managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levél's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Keserű was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andor Sámuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gergely Czene blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Zádor having to make a save. Kázmér Simicska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gergely Czene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Norbert Zádor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Levél's Norbert Zádor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balázs Héj in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Levél's Norbert Zádor got control of the ball when Gergely Czene tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kázmér Simicska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Andor Sámuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Simon Keserű made a precise shot to the right of Andor Sámuel. Diósgyri VTK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 89 minutes into the match, Levél's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Héj came free, but Norbert Zádor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Keserű in the 92nd minute of play forced Diósgyri VTK's goalkeeper Andor Sámuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bulcsú Szegh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levél's supporters rose to their feet, but Bulcsú Szegh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andor Sámuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Diósgyri VTK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Diósgyri VTK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
