Quebec Avalanche's Medárd Paszkál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Havas in the 22nd minute of play. If Olivér Tolnai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medárd Paszkál made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Olivér Tolnai sent off a good shot on target. After 36 played minutes Quebec Avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián Bódog. The supporters of Quebec Avalanche booed when Homokmégy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. András Katona didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egon Havas to strike the kick off in the second half. Egon Havas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medárd Paszkál having to interfere. Vince Elek hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Quebec Avalanche's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Havas came free, but Medárd Paszkál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Homokmégy's Olivér Tolnai got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, Homokmégy's Egon Havas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Medárd Paszkál was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egon Havas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Medárd Paszkál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Havas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 96 played minutes Quebec Avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Major. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Homokmégy had played much better football throughout.
