When Bálint Vásárhelyi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cserháthaláp Spartacus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bálint Vásárhelyi couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, Zalasárszeg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Berta to maneuver through the defense. Márk Szívós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Szabolcs Kovács. Zalasárszeg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 11 played minutes Márk Gervai rounded Cserháthaláp Spartacus's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Cserháthaláp Spartacus's László Grosics sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szabolcs Kovács narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bálint Vásárhelyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Zalasárszeg's protests and gave Boldizsár Dárdai a yellow card for diving instead. Cserháthaláp Spartacus's supporters rose to their feet, but Bálint Vásárhelyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szabolcs Kovács breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szabolcs Kovács was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but László Grosics showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Félix Berta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bálint Vásárhelyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Márk Gervai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andor Bernáth having to interfere. Andor Bernáth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márk Gervai in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cserháthaláp Spartacus players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
