XanaX Amsterdam's supporters rose to their feet, but Árpád Lévay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The XanaX Amsterdam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that József Tokody should have stopped the shot. Emánuel Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Tokody having to interfere. Attila Makai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jónás Kiss in the 37th minute of play. Csaba Angyal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jónás Kiss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. József Tokody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilárd Ács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Vázsnok were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vázsnok's goalkeeper Attila Makai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vázsnok's zone, János Szőnyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attila Makai came out of the goal and János Szőnyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes XanaX Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Szigligeti.
