A collision led to AC Mailand getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ottó Bernáth hit a great ball. When Barnabás Pollák came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the AC Mailand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnabás Pollák couldn't finish the play. Géza Bányai made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Barnabás Pollák sent off a good shot on target. If Jónás Szalay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Budakeszi's György Jakó nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Géza Révész made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnabás Pollák stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jónás Szalay hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Barnabás Pollák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Mailand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabás Pollák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, György Jakó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Budakeszi's supporters rose to their feet, but György Jakó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Géza Révész breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Mailand's Kristóf Gerő got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbert Nyilasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, Budakeszi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jónás Szalay to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Budakeszi failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
