Spectators: 7393 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elemér Kállay started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Budai titánok's Gábor Fitos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gábor Fitos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Budai titánok protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gábor Fitos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, Béla Pál hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elemér Kállay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Budai titánok's Norbert Bollobás got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Újvárfalva's Henrik Hajnal got control of the ball when Zoltán Gaál tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Norbert Bollobás recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Hajnal. Norbert Bollobás showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 26th play minute Zoltán Gaál came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henrik Hajnal. 2-1. Károly Tolnai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elemér Kállay in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Budai titánok's goal looked a bit too open when Elemér Mátyás came free, but Károly Tolnai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Norbert Bollobás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Gaál got free with Henrik Hajnal in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zoltán Gaál stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Károly Tolnai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elemér Kállay's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zoltán Gaál during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Bollobás in the 65th minute of play forced Újvárfalva's goalkeeper Henrik Hajnal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoltán Gaál took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Hajnal. Henrik Hajnal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 77 minutes, György Balázs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Újvárfalva and the Budai titánok players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Budai titánok booed when Újvárfalva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Balázs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norbert Bollobás might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Hajnal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Bollobás ran back to his position shaking his head. Zoltán Gaál took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Hajnal. Henrik Hajnal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. After a rather tough play, Budai titánok's Elemér Végh got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, Újvárfalva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Sallói to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Hajnal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Gaál, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Márk Angyal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Hajnal. Újvárfalva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Márk Angyal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Budai titánok fully deserved thier win.
