Daniel Chesus started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Polgár booed when Vergödő Verebek S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márton Szűcs didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vergödő Verebek S.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Béla Tóth hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vergödő Verebek S.C's zone, Palti Weiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. János Buday came out of the goal and Palti Weiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Csank in the 11th minute of play forced Vergödő Verebek S.C's goalkeeper János Buday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Chesus scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Balázs Tandori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Palti Weiss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polgár's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vergödő Verebek S.C the free kick. Márcio Avelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes of play, Polgár's Károly Csank made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. János Buday was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st match minute, Polgár was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palti Weiss to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th play minute Daniel Chesus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Balázs Tandori. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Károly Csank made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Béla Tóth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balázs Tandori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th match minute, Polgár was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by András Havas to maneuver through the defense. Balázs Tandori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. János Buday took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Csank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palti Weiss hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Vergödő Verebek S.C's János Buday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palti Weiss in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the game, Vergödő Verebek S.C's Ádám Bartha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balázs Tandori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 90 minutes into the game, Polgár's Palti Weiss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 93rd match minute, Polgár was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balázs Bencsik to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vergödő Verebek S.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Polgár had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
