Árpád Pásztor came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Szomjas Vámpírok's Bernát Bíró. But to his dismay, Bernát Bíró quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valentin Dala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soma Révész fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Pásztor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernát Bíró in the 38th minute of play forced Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's goalkeeper Árpád Pásztor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Zalaegerszegi Dózsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsombor Salamon to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Bányai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamás Albert in the 45th minute of play. Tibor Bányai made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Gábor Selymes sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernát Bíró made a kick off. Soma Révész received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Árpád Pásztor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bernát Bíró sped through Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Árpád Pásztor. After 60 minutes, Tamás Albert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zalaegerszegi Dózsa and the Szomjas Vámpírok players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zalaegerszegi Dózsa getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tamás Albert hit a great ball. With a little luck, Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's Árpád Pásztor got control of the ball when Soma Révész tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Bernát Bíró who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's Árpád Pásztor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Bernát Bíró left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szomjas Vámpírok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 82 played minutes Zalaegerszegi Dózsa got a freekick which was hit by Bertalan Szatmári. Soma Révész was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Szomjas Vámpírok's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Szomjas Vámpírok's Valentin Dala got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bernát Bíró came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Szomjas Vámpírok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernát Bíró couldn't finish the play. Árpád Pásztor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Dala, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Soma Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szomjas Vámpírok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soma Révész was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Dala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Zalaegerszegi Dózsa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Szomjas Vámpírok were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
