Spectators: 8030 (Terracing: 6024, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Károly Csank started the match with the kick off. Palti Weiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ábel Makai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Károly Csank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ábel Makai made a huge save. Zsolt Csapó struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ábel Makai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polgár. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Zsolt Csapó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polgár's supporters rose to their feet, but Zsolt Csapó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ábel Makai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Sándor Salgó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ábel Makai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ábel Makai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Csapó in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Polgár getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Balázs Bencsik hit a great ball. If Zsolt Csapó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Róbert Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ábel Makai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ádám Hidegkúti's late challenge caught a Polgár's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ádám Hidegkúti helped the player get up and apologised. Ádám Hidegkúti kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Polgár's Róbert Tímár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ábel Makai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tiszasziget ETO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Attila Virágh hit a great ball. Ábel Makai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palti Weiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Tandori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Sándor in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Zsolt Csapó mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polgár and the Tiszasziget ETO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Polgár was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Csapó to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Mózes Pethő ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Balázs Tandori was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Károly Csank hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mózes Pethő stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Károly Csank's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ábel Makai was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tiszasziget ETO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Polgár a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Károly Csank, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tiszasziget ETO's Ábel Makai. 1-1. Attila Virágh got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 59th match minute, Tiszasziget ETO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Virágh to maneuver through the defense. If Károly Csank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Palti Weiss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polgár's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palti Weiss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Polgár fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Polgár's Károly Csank looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zsolt Csapó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Károly Csank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ábel Makai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Károly Csank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ábel Makai having to interfere. Palti Weiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ábel Makai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Sándor Salgó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Károly Csank made a precise shot to the right of Ábel Makai. Tiszasziget ETO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ervin Weszely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ábel Makai having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Károly Csank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiszasziget ETO's Ábel Makai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palti Weiss shot from long distance after 98 played minutes, a shot that Ábel Makai with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar.
