Daniel Chesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gergely Szűcs made a huge save. In the 9th minute Jónás Mezei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Buday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jónás Mezei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vergödő Verebek S.C's goalkeeper János Buday, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Csonkahegyhát SC's Jónás Mezei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. János Buday made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 29 minutes, Szabolcs Balogh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vergödő Verebek S.C and the Csonkahegyhát SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Szabolcs Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Róbert Asztalos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but János Buday skillfully saved the ball. After 30 minutes of play Vergödő Verebek S.C's Szabolcs Balogh was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Szabolcs Balogh hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. János Buday stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jónás Mezei's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jónás Mezei to make the kick off. Ervin Szentesi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. János Buday didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Csonkahegyhát SC. After a rather tough play, Vergödő Verebek S.C's Ádám Bartha got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jónás Mezei got free with János Buday in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Szabolcs Fábián did an outstanding performance 69 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Gergely Szűcs in the goal. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Chesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gergely Szűcs came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vergödő Verebek S.C's Daniel Chesus. But to his dismay, Daniel Chesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With an all-out effort, Csonkahegyhát SC's János Buday threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jónás Mezei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Csonkahegyhát SC's goalkeeper Gergely Szűcs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. János Buday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jónás Mezei, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Róbert Asztalos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
