With a little luck, Zalai Bikák's Dániel Borbás got control of the ball when Mátyás Barta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Debrecen VSC's goalkeeper Árpád Baráth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Bálint Csikós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zalai Bikák's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bálint Csikós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Árpád Baráth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Soós in the 22nd minute of play. After 28 played minutes Zalai Bikák got a freekick which was hit by Bálint Csikós. Lukács Tóth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dániel Borbás made a huge save. Árpád Baráth came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Zalai Bikák's Norbert Soós. But to his dismay, Norbert Soós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Tábori in the 39th minute of play forced Debrecen VSC's goalkeeper Árpád Baráth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Debrecen VSC's goalkeeper Árpád Baráth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Zalai Bikák's Dániel Borbás got control of the ball when Mátyás Barta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Zalai Bikák were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when József Fitos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Debrecen VSC's zone, Bálint Csikós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Árpád Baráth came out of the goal and Bálint Csikós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Árpád Baráth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Havasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zalai Bikák's Bálint Csikós got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Norbert Soós put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Árpád Baráth. A hard shot 79 in the game by Norbert Soós from a close distance when the talented Árpád Baráth managed to make a qualified save. Debrecen VSC's players were relieved. Lukács Tóth kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The Debrecen VSC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zalai Bikák were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
