Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ákos Rózsa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, Lajos Temesvári hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elek Sárosi had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Csaba Baráth's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Újpesti Torna Egyesület's Richárd Kováts made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elek Sárosi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Csaba Baráth notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kalaznó TC's Elek Sárosi. Elek Sárosi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th match minute, Kalaznó TC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by András Barabás to maneuver through the defense. When Bálint Zolnai came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Újpesti Torna Egyesület fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bálint Zolnai couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Csaba Baráth in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elek Sárosi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. András Barabás kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Ádám Újváry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újpesti Torna Egyesület's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ádám Újváry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elek Sárosi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Csaba Baráth's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Pál Kis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Péter Kósa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 minutes of play, Újpesti Torna Egyesület's Péter Kósa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Csaba Baráth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elek Sárosi having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Koppány Vályogos made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Koppány Vályogos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brúnó Buday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Újpesti Torna Egyesület's Brúnó Buday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Vályogos in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Újpesti Torna Egyesület's Péter Kósa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elek Sárosi. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. Ákos Rózsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brúnó Buday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Gombos in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Kalaznó TC's goal looked a bit too open when Bálint Zolnai came free, but Elek Sárosi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Újpesti Torna Egyesület was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ádám Újváry to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Bálint Zolnai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Újpesti Torna Egyesület's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalaznó TC the free kick. In the 69th minute, Kalaznó TC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Richárd Kováts fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 72nd minute, Péter Kósa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elek Sárosi, passed just outside the right post. A wasted opportunity for Újpesti Torna Egyesület. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Péter Kósa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Újpesti Torna Egyesület's supporters rose to their feet, but Péter Kósa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elek Sárosi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richárd Kováts struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Elek Sárosi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Újpesti Torna Egyesület. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pál Kis got free with Elek Sárosi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Elek Sárosi managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Újpesti Torna Egyesület's Csaba Baráth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Csaba Baráth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Elek Sárosi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elek Sárosi was a little too slow when Péter Kósa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-5. Újpesti Torna Egyesület played a much better game than Kalaznó TC and deserved their victory. The Kalaznó TC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
