With an all-out effort, Csertalakos's Árpád Baráth threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Szabolcs Bíró, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pál Mogyorós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Fitos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihály Benkô hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pál Mogyorós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mátyás Barta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Mátyás Barta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pál Mogyorós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of József Fitos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Lukács Tóth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Debrecen VSC's Árpád Baráth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Debrecen VSC from getting a goal against them. János Weszely who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Árpád Baráth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Csertalakos's Szabolcs Bíró ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Árpád Baráth. Árpád Baráth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Árpád Baráth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After recieving a nice pass, Csertalakos's Bertalan Baló tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dániel Rahner kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mátyás Barta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
