The crowd rose to their feet as Zagyvarékas KLK's Imre Újfalussy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of János Sallay. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 18th minute, Zoltán Pécsi made a precise shot to the right of Zakariás Majer. Zagyvarékas KLK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Cukicsapat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Béla Majoros to maneuver through the defense. Csaba Tolnai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but János Sallay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Zakariás Majer was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zoltán Pécsi succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Béla Majoros took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zakariás Majer. Zakariás Majer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell János Csorba to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Csaba Tolnai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zagyvarékas KLK's supporters rose to their feet, but Csaba Tolnai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Sallay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Csaba Tolnai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Béla Majoros in the 67th minute of play forced Zagyvarékas KLK's goalkeeper Zakariás Majer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zakariás Majer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Pécsi in the 68th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Zagyvarékas KLK got a freekick which was hit by Imre Újfalussy.
