An unexpectedly hard shot by János Csorba in the 5th minute of play forced PEAC's goalkeeper Lajos Irmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lajos Irmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers János Csorba in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Irmai saved PEAC from getting behind. After 11 played minutes Zagyvarékas KLK got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Bihari. János Csorba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruce Lee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elek Veres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferenc Révész charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferenc Révész the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PEAC's Ferenc Révész got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th match minute, Zagyvarékas KLK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Csorba to maneuver through the defense. If János Csorba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zagyvarékas KLK's Bruce Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If János Csorba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

János Csorba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Lajos Irmai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zagyvarékas KLK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
