Tamás Magos struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Lajos Irmai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cukicsapat. Cukicsapat's Béla Majoros got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lajos Irmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Magos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sándor Tóth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lajos Irmai was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The supporters of Cukicsapat booed when PEAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Tóth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Pécsi in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lajos Irmai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Cukicsapat's Zoltán Pécsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lajos Irmai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sándor Tóth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lajos Irmai was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Zoltán Pécsi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lajos Irmai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Péter Tóth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ottó Pálinkás in the 37th minute of play forced Cukicsapat's goalkeeper János Sallay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Zoltán Pécsi suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 40th match minute, PEAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dömötör Orosz to maneuver through the defense. Márk Pál-Szabó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lajos Irmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Béla Majoros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Márk Berkes's late challenge caught a Cukicsapat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márk Berkes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cukicsapat booed when PEAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márk Berkes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Cukicsapat's Márk Pál-Szabó made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lajos Irmai was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ottó Pálinkás to strike the kick off in the second half. Lajos Irmai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Béla Majoros in the 60th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes PEAC got a freekick which was hit by Márk Berkes. Sándor Tóth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Márk Pál-Szabó, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lajos Irmai was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cukicsapat's Béla Majoros got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PEAC's Lajos Irmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Majoros in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, PEAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Péter Tóth to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Béla Majoros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lajos Irmai. That made the score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. If Sándor Tóth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cukicsapat's Béla Majoros in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PEAC's goalie prevented a goal. Márk Berkes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mózes Újvári's shot from long distance in the 90th minute was not bad at all, but PEAC's Lajos Irmai knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Lajos Irmai came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Cukicsapat's Sándor Tóth. But to his dismay, Sándor Tóth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sándor Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lajos Irmai having to interfere. Cukicsapat's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
