Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 6080, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 160) In the 2nd minute, Galatasaray FC's Alfonz Dénes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfonz Dénes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Galatasaray FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfonz Dénes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alfonz Dénes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Égerszög's Kornél Lencse broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Égerszög's Tihamér Benkô got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kornél Lencse took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gábor Dobó. Gábor Dobó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Égerszög was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ottó Gulyás to maneuver through the defense. If Kálmán Borbély had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Kornél Lencse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Dobó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Alex Pásztor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sander Boschker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Galatasaray FC defense, Kálmán Borbély kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gábor Dobó. The Galatasaray FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gábor Dobó should have stopped the shot. Gusztáv Ballai made a great header on Galatasaray FC's corner, it was just that Égerszög's Sander Boschker managed to reach the ball for a save. 29 minutes into the match, Galatasaray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kornél Lencse came free, but Gábor Dobó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gábor Dobó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjámin Bartha in the 37th minute of play. Gábor Dobó came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Égerszög's Benjámin Bartha. But to his dismay, Benjámin Bartha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 46th minute, Zoltán Hegedűs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zoltán Hegedűs made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Benjámin Bartha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 53 played minutes Galatasaray FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábián Csernyi. Sander Boschker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zoltán Hegedűs's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Kálmán Borbély managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Égerszög's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kálmán Borbély was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Leyva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gábor Dobó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kálmán Borbély had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Galatasaray FC defense, Benjámin Bartha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gábor Dobó. The Galatasaray FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gábor Dobó should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Tobias Leyva took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Gábor Dobó to make any attempt to save it. 1-7 became the score in the 75th minute when Benjámin Bartha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gábor Dobó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Leyva in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Kálmán Borbély recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gábor Dobó. Kálmán Borbély showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. A collision led to Égerszög getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Boyde Mitchell hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Galatasaray FC got a freekick which was hit by Szilárd Sipos. If Kálmán Borbély had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gábor Dobó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjámin Bartha in the 95th minute. The Galatasaray FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Égerszög were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
