In the 33rd minute, Valentin Udvarhelyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the George United defense, Örs Simkó kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sándor Fodor. The George United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sándor Fodor should have stopped the shot. Gergely Újházi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Hidegkúti having to make a save. Gyula Fejes might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Hidegkúti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gyula Fejes ran back to his position shaking his head.

Patrik Hidegkúti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Újházi in the 95th minute of the match.
