Boruc Drab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from András Győri in the 4th minute of the match. If Zsolt Szénási had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zsolt Szénási's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soma Bernáth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Apollon Grimaszol's András Győri got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zsolt Szénási in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soma Bernáth saved Apollon Grimaszol from getting behind. Soma Bernáth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zsolt Szénási's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. László Várdai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soma Bernáth having to interfere. Apollon Grimaszol's Soma Bernáth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Szénási in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Zsolt Szénási shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soma Bernáth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zsolt Szénási had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Steel Tigers's zone, László Jósa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boruc Drab came out of the goal and László Jósa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Steel Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Steel Tigers's Zsolt Szénási looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Spencer Pfeffer fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steel Tigers's protests and gave Spencer Pfeffer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Steel Tigers's Spencer Pfeffer got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Zsolt Szénási got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 49th play minutes Zsolt Szénási shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Soma Bernáth and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zsolt Szénási to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Steel Tigers's Zsolt Szénási nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Soma Bernáth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Zsolt Szénási took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Soma Bernáth. Soma Bernáth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Apollon Grimaszol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ádám Bozsik was slow to take the kick. During this time Steel Tigers's players had a chance to rest. 72 minutes into the match, László Várdai notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Apollon Grimaszol's Soma Bernáth. Soma Bernáth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Apollon Grimaszol defense, László Várdai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Soma Bernáth. The Apollon Grimaszol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soma Bernáth should have stopped the shot. Soma Bernáth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of László Várdai's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When Steel Tigers's Zsolt Szénási in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apollon Grimaszol's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Steel Tigers's 卓卫明 got a free kick in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Zsolt Szénási cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Soma Bernáth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soma Bernáth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Várdai, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Steel Tigers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
