The audience was convinced that János Markos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emánuel Cselényi was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. János Markos took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emánuel Cselényi. Emánuel Cselényi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kálmán Rácz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Campobasso FC's zone, János Markos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emánuel Cselényi came out of the goal and János Markos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campobasso FC's goalkeeper Emánuel Cselényi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dániel Kovács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emánuel Cselényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Campobasso FC's Patrik Tököli got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Ágoston Tököli fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campobasso FC's protests and gave Ágoston Tököli a yellow card for diving instead. Ágoston Tököli hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Markos in the 26th minute of play forced Campobasso FC's goalkeeper Emánuel Cselényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Endre Bakó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emánuel Cselényi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of János Markos's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, János Markos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emánuel Cselényi. Campobasso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that János Markos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fülöp Rahner kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Dániel Kovács cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Emánuel Cselényi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Emánuel Cselényi made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Dániel Kovács sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-5 when János Markos sped through Campobasso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emánuel Cselényi. Dániel Kovács's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emánuel Cselényi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Kálmán Rácz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Emánuel Cselényi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Róbert Farkas made a precise shot to the right of Emánuel Cselényi. Campobasso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Dániel Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emánuel Cselényi having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Campobasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when János Markos came free, but Emánuel Cselényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asgard FC played a much better game than Campobasso FC and deserved their victory. The Campobasso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
