Spectators: 7012 (Terracing: 6010, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 1) GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's Péter Czene started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ádám Császár came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Algyő fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ádám Császár couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Péter Czene in the 6th minute of play forced Algyő's goalkeeper Ádám Szigligeti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Árpád Paszkál to maneuver through the defense. Ádám Szigligeti came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's György Simkó. But to his dismay, György Simkó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 18 minutes of play, GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's Tamás Dósa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ádám Szigligeti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Géza Koós might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ádám Szigligeti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Géza Koós ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 minutes, András Benczur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algyő and the GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Róbert Szabados fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algyő's protests and gave Róbert Szabados a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Algyő was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Szabados to maneuver through the defense. Algyő's Ádám Szigligeti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Péter Czene in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Algyő's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Károly Budai was slow to take the kick. During this time GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's Károly Budai to fire away a dangerous shot which Ádám Szigligeti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ádám Császár might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gábor Tulipán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ádám Császár ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Tamás Dósa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, László Gulyás made a precise shot to the right of Gábor Tulipán. GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Károly Budai fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's protests and gave Károly Budai a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's Konstantin Tolnay got a free kick in the 45th minute. GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's Gábor Tulipán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Császár in the 47th minute of play. After the first half GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ádám Császár was the one to do the kick off. Ádám Császár blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gábor Tulipán having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Péter Czene in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ádám Szigligeti saved Algyő from getting behind. Ádám Császár hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, one of Algyő:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Károly Budai placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC's Péter Czene got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Róbert Szabados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Géza Koós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ádám Szigligeti made a huge save. With a little luck, Algyő's Ádám Szigligeti got control of the ball when György Simkó tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Algyő's goalkeeper Ádám Szigligeti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by György Simkó. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, László Gulyás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algyő's supporters rose to their feet, but László Gulyás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gábor Tulipán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Péter Czene recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ádám Szigligeti. Péter Czene showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Károly Budai was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Károly Budai kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Róbert Szabados came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Algyő fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Szabados couldn't finish the play. The GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GYŐRI AUDI ETO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
