Imre Pethő took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Petran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Achilleas Csizmadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, one of Ugornya Red Wings:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ugornya Red Wings. Imre Pethő had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Gergely Füzesi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 24th minute, Gergely Füzesi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Imre Pethő was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gică Petran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imre Pethő having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Endre Csordás in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pál Czene saved Zoltan from getting behind. Pál Czene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achilleas Csizmadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yani Mitakev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pál Czene made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertrand Taverniers in the 37th minute of play forced Zoltan's goalkeeper Pál Czene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pál Czene was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Bertrand Taverniers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertrand Taverniers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 47 minutes into the game, Esteban Fidencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zoltan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ugornya Red Wings the free kick. Esteban Fidencio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Ugornya Red Wings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zoltan were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yani Mitakev was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Zoltan got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Czakó. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bertrand Taverniers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ugornya Red Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertrand Taverniers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pál Czene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Zoltan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ádám Forgács to maneuver through the defense. Pál Czene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertrand Taverniers in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Yani Mitakev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Czene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Mátyás Sáfár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
