Gusztáv Détári took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tamás Görög. Rácz Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rácz Fc's Tamás Görög played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Károly Demeter in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Szombathelyi Haladás's Károly Demeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamás Görög made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rácz Fc's József Láng got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Károly Demeter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tamás Görög. Rácz Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Károly Demeter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Karsai in the 29th minute of play forced Rácz Fc's goalkeeper Tamás Görög to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Szombathelyi Haladás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Kiprich to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, Gusztáv Détári was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szombathelyi Haladás's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rácz Fc the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Rácz Fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vilmos Vastag 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Tamás Görög took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Vékony, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Rácz Fc's goalkeeper Tamás Görög had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibor Karsai. Tamás Görög was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Károly Demeter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 64 minute of play. A collision led to Rácz Fc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Roland Szalai hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Tibor Karsai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szombathelyi Haladás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Karsai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tamás Görög made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusztáv Nyitrai in the 82nd minute of play. Rácz Fc's Tamás Görög played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilmos Vastag in the 91st minute of play.
