The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, György Ballai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th minute Attila Somogyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but László Pölöskei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roxan Futball-Klub's László Pölöskei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Végvári in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kálmán Végvári in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg László Pölöskei saved Roxan Futball-Klub from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Gábor Paál got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kálmán Végvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without László Pölöskei having to interfere. György Ballai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andor Fazekas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Kálmán Végvári put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of László Pölöskei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máté Vásárhelyi in the 21st minute of play forced Roxan Futball-Klub's goalkeeper László Pölöskei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kálmán Végvári to strike the kick off in the second half. Kálmán Végvári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Kálmán Végvári had several of the Roxan Futball-Klub's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed László Pölöskei as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 60th minute, Úttárs's Kálmán Végvári dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 63 minutes into the game, Roxan Futball-Klub's Csaba Varsányi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. György Ballai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. A hard shot 77 in the game by Kálmán Végvári from a close distance when the talented László Pölöskei managed to make a qualified save. Roxan Futball-Klub's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Zoltán Szekeres put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of György Ballai.
