When Gábor Miklós came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Budapest Alternative FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gábor Miklós couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute Gedeon Fábián shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Ballai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Somogyi during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Attila Somogyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Gábor Miklós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of György Ballai. Úttárs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gábor Miklós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Árpád Benczur took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised György Ballai. György Ballai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Árpád Benczur in the 15th minute of play forced Úttárs's goalkeeper György Ballai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. György Ballai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gábor Miklós went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Úttárs's goal looked a bit too open when Árpád Benczur came free, but György Ballai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. György Ballai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gedeon Fábián in the 22nd minute of play. György Ballai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Miklós, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Szuper in the 25th minute of play forced Úttárs's goalkeeper György Ballai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kálmán Végvári got free with Csaba Hudák in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gábor Paál sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. György Ballai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Miklós in the 45th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Úttárs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Budapest Alternative FC:s goal. In the 50th minute Budapest Alternative FC were awarded a corner. Bálint Győri went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Gábor Miklós to score against György Ballai in Úttárs's goal. 0-4 after 50 minutes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Péter Lévai made the kick off in the second half. When Máté Vásárhelyi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Úttárs fans jumped to their feet. In the 57th minute, Bálint Győri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Árpád Benczur took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for György Ballai to make any attempt to save it. 67 minutes into the match, Ferenc Szuper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of György Ballai. Úttárs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferenc Szuper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Kálmán Végvári hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Máté Vásárhelyi struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Csaba Hudák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Úttárs. In the 92nd minute Úttárs were awarded a corner. Kálmán Végvári went to the cornerflag to take it. Úttárs's Kálmán Végvári was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Csaba Hudák in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 100th minute of the game Péter Lévai made a throw-in which Máté Vásárhelyi played forward. The Úttárs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Budapest Alternative FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
