After a rather tough play, Debercsény FC's Róbert Sárközi got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Zoltán Rákosi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Imre Rácz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Zoltán Rákosi came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Villam Gepard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoltán Rákosi couldn't finish the play. Villam Gepard FC's János Radics got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Villam Gepard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Sárközi came free, but Attila Markó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Debercsény FC's Dömötör Erőss got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Zoltán Rákosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoltán Rákosi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Imre Rácz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villam Gepard FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedek Kozma in the 38th minute of play forced Debercsény FC's goalkeeper Imre Rácz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imre Rácz came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Villam Gepard FC's Zoltán Rákosi. But to his dismay, Zoltán Rákosi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Villam Gepard FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zoltán Rákosi to make the kick off. János Radics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Imre Rácz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Radics sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Sándor Csiszár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. János Radics might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Imre Rácz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. János Radics ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers János Radics in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Imre Rácz saved Debercsény FC from getting behind. Attila Markó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dömötör Erőss, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zoltán Rákosi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Imre Rácz made a huge save. Benedek Kozma came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Imre Rácz could save by the left post. In the 87th minute, Zoltán Rákosi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Imre Rácz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Róbert Sárközi kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Attila Markó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dömötör Erőss in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedek Kozma got free with Imre Rácz in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Villam Gepard FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
