The Folyton TC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bánk Varsányi should have stopped the shot. Áron Tímár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gergely Kutas got free with Zsolt Cseh in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Székelyudvarhely FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Botond Lipták hit a great ball. Sándor Madarász hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Gergely Kutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Folyton TC got a freekick which was hit by Imre Huszár. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeromos Koczka in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bánk Varsányi saved Folyton TC from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gergely Kutas to make the kick off. Folyton TC's Bánk Varsányi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Folyton TC from getting a goal against them. When Márton Kiss fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Folyton TC's protests and gave Márton Kiss a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Székelyudvarhely FC booed when Folyton TC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márton Kiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Kutas in the 59th minute of play forced Székelyudvarhely FC's goalkeeper Zsolt Cseh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bánk Varsányi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zsolt Bertha. Áron Tímár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Gergely Kutas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bánk Varsányi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeromos Koczka, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 79 played minutes Székelyudvarhely FC got a freekick which was hit by Sándor Madarász. After 81 minutes of play Folyton TC's Márton Kiss was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Márton Kiss hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tibor Sárközi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when András Borsos got free with Bánk Varsányi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeromos Koczka in the 90th minute of play forced Folyton TC's goalkeeper Bánk Varsányi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szilárd Grosics scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zsolt Cseh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Folyton TC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
