Krisztián Fejes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Róbert Kálmán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ádám Czakó in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bajnokcsapat defense, Tamás Horváth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dániel Szűcs. The Bajnokcsapat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dániel Szűcs should have stopped the shot. Gergely Czakó hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Gergely Benkô got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Ádám Czakó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by István László during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Bajnokcsapat got a freekick which was hit by István László. 24 minutes into the game, Béla Ábrahám cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dániel Szűcs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bajnokcsapat's Péter Kőváry pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Béla Ábrahám charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Béla Ábrahám the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bajnokcsapat booed when Tüskevár was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Ábrahám didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ákos Huszár's late challenge caught a Bajnokcsapat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ákos Huszár helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tüskevár's Ákos Huszár got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ádám Czakó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Róbert Kálmán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Bajnokcsapat got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Saághy. Gergely Benkô took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dániel Szűcs. Bajnokcsapat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bajnokcsapat's Dániel Szűcs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Ábrahám in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute Krisztián Fejes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dániel Szűcs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balázs Zsinka succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 46th playminute. The Bajnokcsapat players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tüskevár were winning 1-2.

Tibor Saághy kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ádám Czakó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ádám Czakó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Róbert Kálmán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bajnokcsapat's Tibor Saághy got a free kick in the 59th minute. The referee ignored Tüskevár's protests and gave Krisztián Fejes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bajnokcsapat booed when Tüskevár was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krisztián Fejes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play Bajnokcsapat's István László was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 66 played minutes Bajnokcsapat got a freekick which was hit by István László. 82 minutes into the match, Flórián Bencsik notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Bajnokcsapat's Dániel Szűcs. Dániel Szűcs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Károly Ballai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Imre Nagy came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Tüskevár fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Imre Nagy couldn't finish the play.
