Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 6002, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 10) After a defensive mix-up in Steel Colony's zone, Krisztián Fejes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sándor Edelényi came out of the goal and Krisztián Fejes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferenc Zádor during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Steel Colony fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute of the match Csaba Kis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sándor Edelényi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Steel Colony's goal looked a bit too open when Flórián Bencsik came free, but Sándor Edelényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flórián Bencsik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sándor Edelényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Steel Colony's Attila Füzesi got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sándor Edelényi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Tüskevár's Krisztián Fejes. But to his dismay, Krisztián Fejes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sándor Edelényi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krisztián Fejes's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes, Krisztián Fejes made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Steel Colony's Sándor Edelényi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flórián Bencsik in the 41st minute of play forced Steel Colony's goalkeeper Sándor Edelényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miklós Danka during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tüskevár getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Miklós Danka hit a great ball. After the first half Tüskevár were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krisztián Fejes made a kick off. Róbert Kálmán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Szentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sándor Edelényi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flórián Bencsik in the 58th minute. Sándor Edelényi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miklós Danka. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Füzesi during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tüskevár booed when Steel Colony was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Füzesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flórián Bencsik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Sándor Edelényi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Krisztián Szentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Róbert Kálmán was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
