Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Újlõrincfalva Spartacus's Mihály Miklós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tamás Kántor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Miklós in the 3rd minute of play. Antal Takács made an important save on a dangerous shot by András Bogdán in the 5th minute. Vencel Szakál hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Antal Takács didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Tamás Kántor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Pollák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Szász kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Zsolt Dénes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Diósgyőr VTK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gyula Török received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antal Takács came out and tried to block the shot, but Gyula Török slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. Diósgyőr VTK's Tamás Kántor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Miklós in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Gyula Török shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antal Takács saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamás Kántor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zakariás Fitos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Újlõrincfalva Spartacus's zone, Gyula Török stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antal Takács came out of the goal and Gyula Török tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dániel Tar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antal Takács having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Gyula Török managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diósgyőr VTK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gyula Török was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gyula Török to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Újlõrincfalva Spartacus's Tamás Kántor threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zakariás Fitos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gyula Török who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Újlõrincfalva Spartacus's Antal Takács was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antal Takács stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gyula Török's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Újlõrincfalva Spartacus getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zakariás Fitos hit a great ball. Gyula Török took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antal Takács. Antal Takács dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dániel Tar during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dániel Tar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Balázs Szász made a precise shot to the right of Tamás Kántor. Diósgyőr VTK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Nándor Földes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Dániel Jánosi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tamás Kántor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes Diósgyőr VTK got a freekick which was hit by Zoltán Zádori. 73 minutes into the match, Mihály Miklós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tamás Kántor, 5-2. Diósgyőr VTK's Tamás Kántor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Diósgyőr VTK from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Zakariás Fitos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 77th minute, Dániel Tar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gyula Török in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antal Takács saved Újlõrincfalva Spartacus from getting behind. Balázs Szász who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Tamás Kántor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Gyula Török hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tamás Kántor was a little too slow when Balázs Szász got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 5-3. After a defensive mix-up in Újlõrincfalva Spartacus's zone, Gyula Török stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antal Takács came out of the goal and Gyula Török tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
